Roger Guay, Warden and author

In this photo are Roger Guay, Warden and Author of “A Man With a Good Dog” and his host Rotarian Steven Nelson. Roger shared his stories of life as a dog handler and working search in rescue around the State of Maine at the Rotary meeting on December 19, 2016. He now lives in Western Maine but has spent time in the County. The biggest part of his message to the club is that training dogs is easy, what is more difficult is training dog handlers. He emphasized that a handler must learn to trust their dog. He had wanted to name his book ” A Good Dog With a Man”. Roger had books for sale and was autographing them at a brisk rate. He spoke at Cary Library that evening.
