The drawing will be held on air Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, during the last night of Houlton Rotary’s 3-night 57th annual auction. Proceeds from this year’s auction will go towards the Just For Kids Playground project to upgrade the playground equipment at Community Park, the Southern Aroostook Agricultural Museum, Dollars For Scholars (Houlton, Hodgdon, Southern Aroostook, East Grand & GHCA), Cary Library, Salvation Army, Houlton Little League, Student Recognition Day and the Rotary Youth Exchange Program. Some funds will also be used in the Dominican Water Project where local Rotarians will travel to the Dominican Republic to install water filters in early 2013.
