The Houlton Rotary Club meets every Monday at 12:00 noon at the Church of the Good Shepherd (Watson Hall) 118 Main Street in Houlton.  We invite you to join us for a meeting, which can be arranged by contacting any Rotarian or simply stopping in on Monday.

What To Expect At A Rotary Meeting

At the Houlton Rotary meeting we begin every meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance, The Four Way Test and an opening prayer.  We follow the opening with lunch and make sure you come hungry!  Our meals are always well received by our guests and include a full meal, entre, vegetable(s), desert and drinks.  Lunch provides a great opportunity for fellowship with other Rotarians and guests.

After lunch our President calls the meeting to order, makes a few announcements and our Sargeant-At-Arms introduces our guests and visiting Rotarians.  In Houlton, we also sing a short song (yes, we sing and we’re surprisingly good) and provide an opportunity for our Rotarians to make announcements via “Happy Dollars”.

Typically, the final portion of our meeting is left for our guest speaker.  Each week a different Rotarian is scheduled to provide a program for the club.  While a club member may take the opportunity to speak on their own for the program, they typically will invite a member of our community to speak.  Programs cover a wide range of topics, but will always provide information useful to our members.
